CHARACTER GUIDE

Mystyk is an experienced mailman (mailwoman??). Her mysterious boss sees her as the best employee he have because of her strenght and her stamina to walk long distance even on the most dangerous lands...
She is much stronger than she looks like hence why her boss isn't afraid of sending her into the most inhospitable and unwelcoming places of the world in order to deliver mail since he knows that if anyone tries to mess with her, she will win.
The company she works for is often seen as a very shadowy one, no one knows the name of the leader overseeing everything, not even Mystyk. She gets paid very well so she doesn't really care about learning the true identity of her superior, as long as that sweet money keeps coming in, she won't complain.
Her boss doesn't seem to care about morality or ethics, as he will often do business with criminals who needs to send messages to their fellow lawbreakers, rumors says that the boss himself is connected with many mobs and syndicates all over the globe...
She is short-tempered and doesn't take anyone's shit, time is money and wasting hers will result in a visit to the hospital.
Age: 36
Species: Ketherean (terranial)
Pronouns:he/him
Wesley is a pretty cool guy who doesn't talk much and isn't seen around populated places a lot, since he's too busy patrolling the surroundings, but also because he enjoys being in contact with nature. He spends most of his days walking in the forest near his hometown in order to protect it against malicious visitors.
He's seen as the defender of his village and is very popular with the inhabitants, especially teens who perceives him as some sort of heroic figure due to his past accomplishments.
Although he is put on a pedestal and seen as a do-gooder, very few actually knows anything about him, he suddenly appeared out of nowhere 10 years ago and started living there as a common hunter, doing trades and exchanging his goods, that is until chaos started to manifest around the place he settled, and decided to defend himself AND the population of the town against these unforseen intruders/disasters.
When asked about his past, Wesley will either try to subtly change the topic of the conversation, make up some lie on the spot or pretend he has to go somewhere...
The truth is that Wesley used to be a terrible person and is trying to make amends with his past by helping "defenseless citizens".(He used to work for a shady black market).
He despises when he is asked to answer questions about his youth because it reminds him that no matter how hard he tries to become a better person, some scars simply cannot ever heal... He fled to this village years ago in hopes to restart everything, he hides his face because he can no longer bear his reflection in the mirror and believes that he should live hidden in shame.
He suffers from a very bad case of imposter syndrome and never stays when the townfolks invites him to a party to celebrate his victories/protection against threats, since he believes a man like him shouldn't even deserve such recognition and admiration from others
Age:82
Species: Mek
Pronouns:they/them
Leifheim is an old 82 years old nature loving farmer-bot (because even if they can't eat they still gotta work a job and earn that *mr krabs voice* money money money.)
They love nature and peace of mind more than anything, hence why their farm is quite far from the nearest town.
They store water in their body, (they got a huge water tank in there) that helps them to spread water to their crops.
With the money they earn they buy tons of books, to the point that Leif has a gigantic library in their home basement. They also buy painting supplies and some photo books. Like loads of photo books. Leif can't stop taking pictures of their surrounding whenever they go hiking.
They are an old friend of Thaur, they both met each other when they were still stuck on an extradium site and were considered as nothing but ''object''. Thaur pays a visit to Leifheim every year, and always brings some books for him to read.
Age:53
Species: Ketherean (aetheris)
Pronouns: he/him
Duval is the leader of a guild of knights named ''Gayahad''. They used to be a great and fierce force of order and would help defend those in needs (they would often intervene in battlefields during conflicts). But that was eons ago, the modern age arrived, knights and swords are pretty old fashioned nowadays (especially when you can get firearms...) Some sees Gayahad's guild as some sort of joke and their members as ''costumed clowns''.
The knight guild era of prosperity is gone but that doesn't mean its going to give up this easily... Well Duval, the latest leader, refuse to.
In the modern days, the guild mostly focus on assisting and helping people in need, they barely fight anymore, their base has mostly become a shelter for the homeless and those going through economic difficulties.
Duval doesn't care if people mock his guild, the goal of the Gayahad has always been to help citizens in dire needs, and if he can do that, then it's good enough for him, he's got better things to do than argue with imbeciles.
Duval is someone who is quite altruistic, although he can show himself severe and even punishing sometimes...
Despite the fact that the guild doesn't really fight nowadays, he still tries to convince members to join him during his training sessions, so they can learn how to defend themselves.
He is ALWAYS wearing his helmet, he does everything he can to avoid showing his face (eats in his room for exemple) no one knows what he looks like...
To him it's a symbol of loyalty to his guild, that he refuses to let down; he wants people to see him as ''The Symbol'' of Gayahad, a symbol of determination and perseverance.
Age: 78
Species: Mek
Pronouns: he/him
Galgen is a mek who had too many bad experiences with kethereans and unfortunately grew to resent them. From the way their society works, to the way they treat their fellow brethrens, Galgen saw nothing but injustice, even in times of hope, he believes it's nothing more than a short lived event and that misery always seems to come back stronger.
Just by those informations alone, you probably guessed it, Galgen is a huge pessismist with an apathic view of kethereans (and also some meks, but he does perceive most meks as ''better'' than kethereans when it comes to morality).
He holds a strong dislike towards the majority of kethereans because of his preconceived ideas. He can be quite passive-aggressive (or straight up just aggresive) towards kethereankind (depending on the individual he interacts with).
Despite all his anger, deep deep deep DEEP down, Galgen only wish for one thing, and it's a future where both meks and kethereans can coexist in peace...
Despite this, Galgen has a strict moral code he swore to never trespass; to never kill anyone. He perceives killing as a primitive act, something that belongs in the animal kingdom and that should stay there, killing is simply beneath him. But just because he refuse to ever kill anything doesn't mean he can't fight, Galgen is not a fan of fighting either (since he also sees that as an animal-like response that ''logical and intelligent beings shouldn't act upon'' but he will use his strenght in case of self-defense or legitimiate threat.
Galgen would rather use his imposing stature to intimidate and verbally threaten others instead of choosing physical violence. Tactics such as bluffing and psychologically deceive his opponents is also something he is quite good at.
He also has a immense phobia of blood and organic organs, which also limit his fighting capabilities; he is much more stronger than an average ketherean and a punch could result in bleeding (which triggers a very intense disgust-fear response from him)
when it comes to hobbies/work, Galgen loves reading, especially scientific magazines and research documents, but he also enjoys reading fiction, mostly sci-fi and horror stories
Age:26
Species:Ketherean (aetherys)
Pronouns: she/they
Phoebe left her small town during her early adulthood and joined a big city in hopes to enter university to become an astrophysicist, only issue is that things in the city (and school) cost waaayy more than her village on the coast of the sea, something she didn't really taken for account...
She only has a small amount of money and she's been trying to earn more in order to get into university, but she's gonna need A Whopping Ton Of It, she started working many jobs but the salary is too low and it may take years before she even get the sum of money she needs...
They're quite impatient and working for 3+ years at a job they hates isn't ideal....
She found shelter at Duval's guild(one of my other characters), because they offer shelter for those struggling financially.
She was impressed by the shining armors they had, she asked Duval, the leader, if she could join their guild as a knight (Hence why she wears the guild armor).
But so far, Phoebe is only an "beginner" knight, they know how to fight (yet). To be honest they only likes the armor, it makes them look cool doesn't it?
She doesn't care all that much about all the other knight related stuff... But of course she doesn't tell that to Duval or else he would immediately remove her title of knight (and the armor!) But who knows, maybe someday she will have a change of heart...
Phoebe met Loudwig (another character of mine, yes theres a lot of connection between my ocs) as he infiltrated the guild in order to steal a weapon of high value that he heard was used in the guild's base...
(LOTS OF STUFF HAPPENED BUT I CAN'T DROP 5 PARAGRAPHS OF LORE HERE, THIS IS A CHARACTER RESUME I NEED TO MAKE IT SHORT)Basically, in a nutshell, Phoebe saw Loudwig comitting the thief and was impressed by his robbery skills, she promised she wasn't gonna snitch on him, buuuut on one condition; he's gonna show her how to be so efficient at stealing...
And that's how Phoebe ended up with a dual identity: knight during the day and thief at night
